What is an obyektivka?
An obyektivka is an official one-page form with the basic facts about an employee; its official name is “Maʼlumotnoma”. HR departments of state bodies, banks, universities and many companies in Uzbekistan ask for it when hiring, appointing someone to a position or accepting documents. Unlike a CV, it is not about presenting yourself: only facts — date of birth, education, work history and close relatives.
How to fill in an obyektivka
- Write your full name exactly as in your passport: surname, first name and patronymic.
- The photo is 3×4 cm, in formal clothes on a light background, in the top right corner.
- Current job: the date you were appointed, the organisation’s full official name and your position.
- Write every date the same way, e.g. “1990-yil 15-mart”, without mixing in “15.03.1990”.
- Under “graduated”, give the year and the institution’s full name; the specialty exactly as on the diploma.
- With no degree, title, rank or award, write “yoʻq” (none) — no line is left empty.
- Work history starts from your first job; each line has the years, organisation and position.
- The second page is the relatives table: relation, full name, year and place of birth, workplace, residence.
Common mistakes
- Unexplained gaps in the work history.
- Empty lines instead of “none”.
- Shortened organisation names or a missing city.
- Mixing Latin and Cyrillic script.
- An incomplete list of relatives (for example, leaving out the spouse’s parents).
Questions
How is an obyektivka different from a CV?
An obyektivka is an official form with a fixed layout and only facts. A CV is a free-form document that presents you to an employer, with achievements, skills and goals. Private companies usually ask for a CV, state bodies for an obyektivka.
How many pages is an obyektivka?
The main part should fit on one page; the relatives table goes on a separate second page.
Do I need Word or PDF?
HR departments often ask for Word so they can edit it; PDF is better for printing or emailing. You can get both here for free.
